Madden09 for playstation3 updating rosters
Madden NFL 09 (PS3, 360, Wii, PS2, PSP, DS, Xbox) Developed by EA Tiburon Published by Electronic Arts Released on August 12, 2008 Samit Sarkar (Play Station 3 version) After the immense disappointment that was Madden NFL 08 (on the PS3), I was ready for a fresh start.
I love my Madden, and I was eagerly anticipating this year’s release, especially after hearing about all the improvements and changes EA Tiburon was making to the game.
Go to "Player Management", and select "NFL Greats". Then, go to "Free Agents", and put the desired player on a team.
When you start Superstar mode, play as a rookie and find your player.
The madden curse was also effective this year on Brett Favre possibly makeing this his last year to play football.I have a love/hate relationship with Madden NFL - it's one of my all-time favorite games, but it also has a long history of sucking up cash from idiots like myself by providing only annual roster updates and dubious "innovations" (quarterback vision cone, anyone?) Many of my most important criticisms deal with the user interface and feature set on the PS3; I have only played the Playstation 3 edition of Madden 09, so some of these comments may not hold true on other platforms.Officially, EA simply said they wanted to honor Favre's career. However, in August, Favre announced he would be returning to football as a Jet.
